Living in the Secret Valley – An Interview with Vajrashura

In autumn, Vajrashura led a three month retreat on which 16 men were ordained into the Triratna Buddhist Order. They spent most of this time living a simple and communal life in the mountain forest valley in Guhyaloka, ‘The Secret Valley’, in Spain.
On this night, Jnanadhara will interview Vajrashura about what life was like in the valley, far from electronic devices, Covid, and all the other concerns of the world. We’ll hear about the beauty and challenge of these long retreats, and what can be learned from and appreciated in them.
