Sailing the Worldly Winds – Buddhism Course
Sailing the Worldly Winds – Buddhism Course

Wednesday 3rd January 2024
7:15pm - 9:30pm
Led by Vajrashura
A Five-Week Course
The Buddha’s teaching of the eight worldly winds describes how we are buffeted about while trying to make our way in the world.
Tossed about by these winds – gain and loss, praise and blame, pleasure and pain, fame and disrepute – it is easy to lose all direction, confidence, and sense of purpose.
The Buddha had clear guidance on how to rise above these ‘worldly winds’ – facing them uncompromisingly, and entering through the ‘doorways to freedom’ that allow us to become equanimous in the face of them.
And when we do this and are no longer at the mercy of the worldly winds, we are more able to live in tune with life’s deepest meaning.
This five-week Buddhism course is led by Vajrashura and will explore how we can find freedom, energy and equanimity amidst the storms of life.
