Blessings for Shubha Vihara – A Practice Morning

The work on our new Shubha Vihara Retreat Centre is ongoing – fundraising, building work, planning applications, and so on.
But creating and building Shubha Vihara is about more than just the bricks and mortar – it involves merit, well-wishing, and blessings – blessings from the Sangha but also from the Buddhas and the indefinable spirit of the Bodhisattva Ideal active in the world.
Working at this level is just as important,if not more important, as the ‘practical’ aspects of the project.
On this practice morning, we’ll be helping the Shubha Vihara project in this way; practising together to deepen and infuse our collective vision of the project with the golden light of the Buddha’s blessings.
We’ll be meditating, recollecting the Buddha, and doing puja together, and in the tea-break we’ll hear some updates on how the project is progressing. So come along and help us to build Shubha Vihara in this way!
